Rare separately published pocket map of Michigan, published by Nelson Bros. & Co. of Grand Rapids Michigan.

The map licensed from George F. Cram of Chicago, as noted in the copyright to the left of the title, dated 1878. Cram issued "Cram's Rail Road & Township Map of Michigan" as early as 1875, although this 1875 map was taken from a completely different lithographic stone, which was smaller than the present map and extended a bit further north.

1878 seems to be the earliest year in which Cram issued "Cram's Rail Road & Township Map of Michigan."
