Rare early town view of Riga, with the founder bishop Albert from Buxhoeveden and coat of arms of Riga. The image appeared in Croneken der Sachsen published by Schöffer in Mainz.
On the verso is an image of Albrecht, coat of arms and sections dated 1206 and 1207. This is Albert I of Käfernburg (German: Albrecht I. von Käfernburg; c. 1170 – 15 October 1232), the Archbishop of Magdeburg from 1205 to 1232. The coat of arms includes his seal.
