The map provides a finely detailed treatment of the Grand Canyon and the course of the Colorado River, with tributaries and High Plateaus, extending from Black Canyon in the South to the Uinta Mountains in Utah and covering most of Grand Canyon National Park, Glen Canyon, the modern Lake Powell region and Arches National Park in Utah.
