Rare Lucien Boucher Pictorial map of the Rhone River region of South France.

The map extends from Lyon and Lake Geneva in the north the the French Mediterranean, including caricatures of famous sites in St. Maries de la Mer, Nimes, Arles, Avignon, Mont-Ventoux, Pont St. Espit, Vienne, Lyon, etc.

Rumsey notes:

Color pictorial map of St. Maries de la Mer in southern France. In 1838, the town was renamed Sainted-Maries-de-Mer, after three Marys. Their arrival by boat is depicted at the bottom of the map. Designed in 1938 to celebrate the 100th. year of the renaming of the town.
