James H. Wallick was a late 19th century actor, best known his 1882 Bandit King, an historical fiction loosely based upon the life of Jesse James. Wallick's next play was Cattle King, which pitted Bob Taylor, the American Cattle King against Don Pedro Jose Mexia, the Mexican Cattle King, in a battle of equestrian spectacle.
